I am a self-driven, ambitious, BSN-prepared RN with a passion for providing exceptional care to my community and serving as a patient advocate. My background includes three and a half years of experience working as a bedside nurse in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I have cared for the tiniest, most fragile patients from the underserved Central Valley and have advocated for those who cannot speak up for themselves. My experience caring for infants born with a variety of health challenges including prematurity, birth defects, chromosomal anomalies, infections, cardiac malformations, and surgical problems has enabled me to develop a strong skill set that I utilize everyday!
One of my favorite things about my current role is educating and empowering others with the knowledge and skill necessary to succeed. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and challenging myself and others everyday. There is so much to know about ALL THINGS NICU! I love teaching others, and I am so excited to passionately share with you my nursing journey, NICU education, scrub fashion, nurse fun, as well as helpful tips & lighthearted tricks!
